British Museum Vikings

Vikings: life and legend is the first on the subject at the British Museum for over 30 years. It will be held on the new exhibition space (WCEC) projected by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and will show at the centre of the exhibition a 37-metre-long Viking warship. The objects on display although beautiful didn't have the power to communicate or partner the concept behind the title, so I chose a strong and intriguing image of the sea which - along a clever teaser campaign- invites to engage and find out more. For future marketing material and onsite graphics the inclusion of a sword reinforces the idea of power and links with the BM's collection.
