Museo Precolombino Gallery

The Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino is a private museum in Santiago de Chile considered one of the best in Southamerica. Based on a listed building in the city centre, it's collection displays beautiful examples of ancient American objects, including stunning textiles, pots, jewellery and other Inka and Southamerican artefacts. A new project sponsored by BHP Billiton called Chile antes de Chile (Chile before Chile) considered a new gallery to promote Chilean ancient art along an extensive architectural renovation to the former building by architect Smilian Radic (Serpentine Pavillion 2015). I was commissioned to develop all gallery graphics working alongside exhibition designer Geoff Pickup.
